IELTS Life skill test

To get Visa of Europe country specially United Kingdom, you have to attend on life skill test. This test is new addition to IELTS.

Types

You have to apply for this test differently. Basically two types of life skill test is available:
1- IELTS Life Skills – A1 Speaking and Listening
2- IELTS Life Skills – B1 Speaking and Listening

Subject of IELTS life skill test:

This test is speaking and listening test of everyday life. I am giving some idea of subject of the life skill test. There may different:
1. Personal details
2. Job review and experience
3. Health
4. Habit
5. Hobby
6. Aim
7. Buying
8. Play
9. Transport
10. Hose hold

What will be happened on Life Skill Test

In this test two or more student will be ask and answer questions. The examiner will told one to ask question regarding any subject. He/She will provide short description. Questioner will get a time to prepair and write what will be asked. Another student have to answer.

Example:

Examiner: Now I'd like you to ask each other some questions. Mina, I'd like you to ask John about his neighbours. John, I'd like you to ask Mina about her favourite time of year. Now think about the questions you want to ask. You have one and a half minutes. You can write down your questions if you want to. If you don’t understand, please ask me.

one and a half minutes for preparation...

Examiner: Mina, are you ready? Please ask John your questions.

two minutes...

Examiner: Thank you.

Examiner: John, are you ready? Please ask Mina your questions.

two minutes...

Examiner: Thank you.

Time Duration:

For A1 Life skill test: 16-18 Minutes
For A2 Life Skill Test 20-22 Minutes

Life Skill Test Score:

There is no score. Just Pass or Fail. If you pass than you are eligible for UK visa.
