Basic things of IELTS Listening Test

Here is some basic thing about IELTS listening test

Section: 
There are 4 section of the IELTS Listening test- Section one, two,three and four.
Section one and two questions are about social and family situation. Section three and four are academic.

Test Type:
Every student of same exam will get same listening test.
Questions:
There are 10 questions on every section. So total question is 40.
Time:
you will get 40 minutes for listening test. You will hear the recording and answer within 30 minutes and rest 10 minutes you will write down these to answer sheet.
Recording Listening:
You will be able to hear the recording once. So you have to carefully listen.
Listening Answer sheet:
You will transfer your listening questions on answer sheet after hearing recording. Extra ten minutes is for writing.
Band Score and Point loss:
 Band score 6 for 23 correct answer of 40 questions
Band score 7 for 30 correct answer of 40 questions
Band score 8 for 35 correct answer of 40 questions.
You will not loss any point for wrong answer. So everyone should guess and try to answer the questions.
Read Questions before recording starts:
You should read questions before recording starts. you can read questions and underline and think what you are going to hear. But when recording starts listen carefully.
Writing on question Paper:
You can write, take note or mark on questions paper. This may helpfull to write answer correctly. You will not given any extra paper to notedown.
Spelling and capital letter:
Spelling and capital letter is important on listening test. So be careful with you spelling. However the recording may have in different ascent you have understand.
